What makes a party?

Friends, good music, good food and a good time.
This is the combination the Gilbert's use and on Memorial Day, they proved once again, that it is the recipe for success.

With lots of great bbq, potato salad, beans, etc Gilbert's County Line Ice House was the place to celebrate the holiday and to officially welcome in another Houston summer.  The party started early with Dangerous Dan and his band kicking off right at 2:00 pm.  Dan shows his soul in every set.  The way they put their heart into the music and give it all they've got is what has made them a favorite at the 'Line.

Although some hearty souls braved the heat outdoors, those of us inside were comfortable due to the many fans.  Ritz (reporter for Skunk Dots) of the SJHR MC and his lady had staked out a prime spot directly between two of the fans.

Even though most everyone still had to show up for the boss on Tuesday morning, the place was still rocking at 9 pm.
