Dare to be BAD!

One of every 20 people in America has diabetes.

798,000 people will be diagnosed with diabetes this year, 187,000 will die.

Complications include heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, blindness, nerve damage and severe infections leading to foot and leg amputations.

Almost 80% of every dollar raised funds diabetes research for a cure.

The American Diabetes Association is America's leading voluntary health organization supporting diabetes research and public education

The 4th Annual Southern California Rip's B.A.D. Ride is an important fundraising event of the American Diabetes Association. The B.A.D. Ride is personally supported by legends, Willie G. and Bill Davidson, of Harley-Davidson®, based on their personal commitment to the fight against diabetes. The ride is also sponsored by Easyriders, Inc., numerous Harley-Davidson dealerships, and other industry related companies.

The B.A.D. ride is the reality of Rip's dream to make a difference in the fight against diabetes. Rip passed away in February 2000, leaving a legacy for us to carry on. Rip was a longtime Easyriders Magazine columnist and biker
legend. Rip was passionate in his fight against diabetes and best embodies the spirit of the B.A.D. Ride.

Rip's B.A.D. Ride is a family event, so come enjoy this festive day.
