Bikers In Biker's Paradise
Based on the beautiful isle of Oahu in the Hawaiian
Island chain, the World
Wide Motorcycle club takes pride in promoting itself
as a family oriented organization. They boast forty-five
members on Oahu and have chapters in Guam and the Western
United States. Their philosophy is simple; take care
of yourself and your family, do what's right, and let
others do the same. The club encourages each of its
members to put their family first, then job, then the
club.
WWMC has a wide range of members. A look at them will
give even the most green tourist an idea of the island's
demographics. President and Founder is an eighty year
old special services veteran native Hawaiian. Some of
the members of the club include one of Honolulu's finest,
a couple of GI's, and an insurance agent, a lawyer,
and several automotive shop owners. The majority of
the club members are self supportive (by legal means)
upstanding members of their communities, with several
owning their own businesses. The biker lifestyle is
definitely not what it was thirty or forty years ago.
With the success of their First Annual Founder's Day
Poker Run and Party, they have been able to raise some
money, which they are putting to good use right back
in the local community. The club believes it should
invest in certain things. The keiki ranks high on that
list.
"We support local charities that invest in our
future, our children".
